A year ago, Claire and I started volunteering at a local animal shelter on weekends. We didn't plan for it to change our lives. But every week we came home quieter, thinking about the dogs and cats still waiting in their kennels.
A few months ago, Claire asked me a question I haven't been able to put down: "Mama, what if this was what we did?"
So we're closing. Not as an end, but as a beginning. Every piece you bring home from our farewell collection helps fund what comes next: $5 from each order goes to our local Animal shelter, and the rest is helping us build a small sanctuary of our own.
